This is according to a report on the Hausa service of the Voice of America broadcast on June 15, 2016.
In a report by Daily Trust, the establishment of the radio station has been confirmed by residents in Tolkomari, northern part of Cameroon.
The residents reportedly confirmed receiving broadcast messages from the sect via the radio station on 96.8 frequency modulation.
it was further reported that the station broadcast propaganda materials to counter media reports of victories by troops from Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republic in the war against the terrorists.
The Voice of America also reports that the Cameroonian government is worried by the new development and has commenced investigations towards locating the radio station, which is reportedly situated on the border of Nigeria and Cameroon.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on Wednesday, June 15, announced the much anticipated flexible foreign exchange rate policy, aimed at boosting the supply of foreign currency in the country.
Recall, that the CBN’s Monetary Policy Committee, MPC, had in their last meeting on May 24, agreed to adopt a greater flexibility in the management of foreign exchange.
However, the delay in the announcement had led to market volatility and further depreciation of the naira.
According to the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, the policy will take off effectively from Monday, June 20, 2016.
He said: ”We’re talking about an open, transparent two-way system.
“It’s intended, we don’t have speculators and rent-seekers. I don’t expect that any other exchange rate

Nimbo Killings: Community seeks N17 billion compensation
The Nimbo community in Uzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State has urged the Federal Government to pay N17 billion to the community as compensation for the invasion of the community and the killing of residents by suspected herdsmen.
The traditional ruler of the community, John Akor, made the demand when he testified at the panel of inquiry into the attack on Wednesday.
He said that the money would be a recompense for the ills suffered by members of the community.
